Little Cotton Dress LLC, Children's Apparel is a Children's Boutique following our dream of offering children’s resort fashion based on craftswomen’s talents, to put our really amateur expertise and tastes in fashion into practice. We are studying and learning. We keep innovating and incorporating new styles, colors, techniques, artisans and natural materials, step by step, one day at a time.
From Miami with Love to the World.
Based in the Sunshine State of Florida, Little Cotton Dress aims to create artistic pieces that enchant and inspire while minimally impacting our environment.
We work exclusively with fine, natural textiles, including sustainable fabrics, and most of my pieces are constructed with cotton farmed in the United States, wool from the Ecuadorian Andes, tagua from Ecuadorian Rain forest, Coconut Shells from the North Pacific Coast of Ecuador, etc.
The collection is inspired by the clothes we wore in our childhood, but updated for today’s more casual environment. The result is a boho -chic playful yet classically-inspired collection of dresses, skirts, tops, sweaters and accessories for kids, ages 6 months to 12 years.
Our clothes proposal includes colorful flowers, playful leaves and vines, brilliant butterflies, bright embroidery that almost look like paintings similar to your kids drawings !
We are constantly creating new products with the same philosophy, all handmade in crafts shops, sweat -free workshops, Fair Trade, using natural fibers, to make versatile, practical clothes that are still affordable, trendy – simply a proposal to highlight how beautiful our children are.
LittleCottonDress LLC is careful with every detail, to dress up what you cherish the most – your beloved children.
After several years, we had achieved good relations with our producers, who were always open to new proposals. These are 50 female heads of household who work in a cooperative in the province of Imbabura, Ecuador. In the Kichwa language, they use the word “minga” for cooperative work, and this is one of the most beautiful values we have discovered in the culture of these people high in Ecuador’s Andes.
