Little Cotton Dress and Valentina Guerrero have partnered to bring out the Valentina Collection inspired by the 5-year-old model who also has Down syndrome. The collection’s theme is love – and its symbol, the heart – since people with this syndrome are characteristically very loving, and since the name “Valentina” comes from St. Valentine, whose day is for love and friendship.
The Valentina Collection, designed jointly by Little Cotton Dress and Valentina’s mother, Ceceliz, has four items: two dresses, one vest, and one skirt and shirt suit. All these items are hand-made by Ecuadorian artisans with ecological materials.
Little Cotton Dress will donate 10% of total profits from the collection to the National Down Syndrome Society to promote the value, acceptance and inclusion of persons with Down’s syndrome.
Little Cotton Dress is celebrating the diversity and beauty of unconditional love, and since Down syndrome is a genetic condition, the hashtag chosen for this campaign is #LoveUnCONDITIONally.
