Little Cotton Dress Photo Contest - Official Rules

We are truly inspired by the over-pouring of beautiful photos we’ve received over this year from happy little customers wearing our dresses and suits. So we've decided to make it a bit more fun and reward you for sending us your photos. We are excited to announce our Little Cotton Dress Photo Contest.

We are looking for a little ambassadors to show our handmade apparel. We know, we can find a new talent in some place in America.

We would like to celebrate two years on business with this photo contest open for Child Models, Photographers, Moms, Aunties and Granny’s.

We will have 5 winners, one per category.

1. Baby (0-24M)

2. Toddler (3Y-5Y)

3. Girl (6-8)

4. Preteen (9-12)

5. Young Lady (13-18)

Pictures will be placed at the end of each day in a Photo Contest Album By Category

How to Enter

All you have to do is submit one or more recent photos of your girl wearing a dress or other of our brand creations purchased from Zulily, Gilt, Modnique, bumblebean.com, Etsy, Flamingo Garden, www.littlecottondress.com or via request via Pay Pal or Facebook Fan Page Order, and a short note about your experience with Little Cotton Dress or how your princesses liked the outfit o where take place the picture. It only takes a few minutes to enter.

To enter, send your pictures to photolcd2013@hotmail.com  , use a nick name for your girl, say age and State.

How to Win

3 Stylish professionals will be the Judges and they will qualify based in the following criteria:

Popularity: The entry with the highest number of votes wins 3 points. Anyone with a Facebook account can cast one vote per picture.  So get your friends and family to vote for you every day to increase your chances of winning. We count votes from instagram and twitter.

Relevance: Take Picture in a Well Know Place or landscape that represents your City, State, County and or take in a family event like Thanksgiving, weeding, birthday party, Independence Day, Christmas, family vacations, etc.  2 points.

Photographic Quality : You not need to be a professional Photographer, but your pictures need look PRO, Highest Quality Possible, Minimum  Dimension 1600, natural colors, light or studio.  2 Points

Creativity:  Get inspired and feel free to create. Be original. You and your girl will have fun and create beautiful memories. 2 Points

Show the dress:  To show the dress we will need a Full Body Shot, Front, Side, Close Up showing neckline or details.  1 Points

Prizes

All entries will automatically be entered to win a shopping spree at Little Cotton Dress On-line Shop.

A) LCD Ambassador will receive a Embroidered and crocheted tiara, sash and diploma.

B) The 5 winners of each category will receive a USD $200 gift certificate redeemable at www.littlecottondress.com

C) The 5 winners of each category will give her name to one new style inspired on her.

D) Winner will have their photos and writings posted on our Facebook page where they will be adored and praised and will be submitted to our Buyers for Special Events and Campaigns.

E) Ten consolation prizes, each with a LCD shop gift certificate reward of USD $20 will also be given.

Contest Rules:

To provide fair and equal chance of winning to all participants, the following are the official rules for Little Cotton Dress Photo Contest:

 

Entering contest:

• Contest is limited to customers of Little Cotton Dress only.
• Contest is open to customers in all countries.
• Limit: One entry per customer per product purchased. 5 Pictures max for same product. We pick which will represent you in FB. If you purchased three different products, you may enter up to three times by submitting 3 different forms, each with a different picture and comment.
• Entrants must submit their photo(s) and comments using the designated email address. photolcd2013@hotmail.com
• Entries for each contest closes at midnight of Dic 31th.
• Winners will be announced March, 1st 2014.
• Management, employees and families of Little Cotton Dress are prohibited from entering the contest.

Submission of photos, comments or other content for contest

• Online entries must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or PNG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image). Digital entries need not be taken with a digital camera; scans of negatives, transparencies, or photographic prints are acceptable.
•  Mounted or framed photographs are not acceptable.
•  Photographs must be taken not more than three (2) years before the date of entry.
• In the event of ties, the photo with the highest in the “Creativity” score will be deemed the winner. If ties still remain, the highest in the “Quality” score will be deemed the winner. If ties still remain, the tied entries will be rejudged based on the same criteria outlined above.
• Decisions of the Sponsor and judges are final and binding.
• By submitting any photo and comments to Little Cotton Dress, you hereby grant to Little Cotton Dress LLC, Little Cotton Dress.Com, www.littlecottondress.com an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted photo or other information in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose. In addition to other things, the rights granted to Little Cotton Dress includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, compress, edit, feature, caption, affix logos to, and to otherwise alter or make use of the submitted photos and information.
• By submitting any photo or information to Little Cotton Dress, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo or information does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party, and you have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to Little Cotton Dress herein, including but not limited to all necessary rights under copyright, free and clear of any claims or encumbrances;
• You acknowledge and agree that Little Cotton Dress shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo or information that you submit to Little Cotton Dress;
• You understand and intend that any photo or information submitted by you to Little Cotton Dress may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photo or information you submit to Little Cotton Dress. By submitting any photo or information to Little Cotton Dress LLC, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such photo or information submitted by you to Little Cotton Dress.
• You hereby agree to hold Little Cotton Dress and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any Little Cotton Dress site, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any photo or information submitted to Little Cotton Dress by you;
• Photos or information submitted by you to the Site shall be the property of Little Cotton Dress, and Little Cotton Dress shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any photos or information so submitted.

Selecting winner and awarding prizes.

• Winners are selected by the 1st of March 2015.
• Winners will be posted on Little Cotton Dress’ Facebook page and will also be notified by email or Facebook messaging.
• Prizes awarded are digital gift certificates redeemable only at Little Cotton Dress websites.
• Gift certificates have no other value other than their designated use as a gift certificate on the site including being redeemable for cash.
• Management, employees and families of Little Cotton Dress are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by Little Cotton Dress.

The current photo contest starts on 10/18/2014. Entries can be made until 12/31/2014. Voting begins on 10/18/2014 and will end on 02/26/2015. Winner will announce on 03/01/2015
